En junio de 2022, con una ceremonia que reuni\u00f3 a destacadas figuras de la pol\u00edtica nacional -como el ex presidente de Chile Ricardo Lagos, quien estuvo tambi\u00e9n en la inauguraci\u00f3n del museo el a\u00f1o 2001, la alcaldesa de Providencia Evelyn Matthei y la ex alcaldesa de Santiago Carolina Toh\u00e1-, se realiz\u00f3 un homenaje a las familias fundadoras del Museo y se llam\u00f3 a buscar en la cultura un punto de encuentro para el pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Durante esa ceremonia, se descubri\u00f3 una placa inspirada en una ilustraci\u00f3n hecha por el dibujante Jimmy Scott, conmemorando el entusiasmo de los fundadores Hugo Yaconi y Manuel Santa Cruz cuando se defin\u00edan los planos para este enclave cultural. Tomamos el ejemplo y el entusiasmo inicial y ya con 21 a\u00f1os de vida proyectamos un crecimiento sostenido en el cual la experiencia y solidez de la UC sea un aporte real para seguir abriendo las puertas a artistas de todo el pa\u00eds y lograr que su obra tenga un mejor y mayor alcance para potenciar la cultura en Chile y m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de nuestras fronteras.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
